Karle Thomas - Senior Instructor
Karle first encountered Ninpo through a happy accident, accompanying his brother, who asked Karle to take him along to the Birmingham Ninjutsu Centre. After watching the instructor, Paul Rice (who was about his own build), throw a guy twice his size across the dojo Karle was hooked, and has been practising Ninjutsu ever since.
July 1987 - Started training in Ninjutsu under Paul Rice.
Dec 1988 - Introduced to Bo. F. Munthe, who later became Karle’s mentor in training.
June 1991 - Awarded Shodan in Ninjutsu.
May 1993 - Awarded Nidan in Ninjutsu - and began studying Ninjutsu under Bo Munthe.
June 1994 - Awarded Sandan in Ninjutsu.
Aug 1997 - Awarded Yondan in Ninjutsu.
March 2000 - Read Glenn Morris's 'Path Notes of an American Ninja Master', and started practising Hoshin breathing and meditation techniques
March 2000 - Awarded Shodan in Ninpo Goshinjutsu Mute Jinen Ryu.
Aug 2002 - Awarded Nidan in Ninpo Goshinjutsu Mute Jinen Ryu, and awarded teaching certificate in Goshido, under Bo F. Munthe.
July 2003 - Was introduced to Soke Glenn Morris, "somehow became friends", and started training in Kundalini meditation.
Sept 2007 - Started training under Norman Smithers and joined the Koryu Dojo.
